Greg Torunski has established himself as a distinctive voice on the Dutch, German, and American music scenes. A graduate with top honors from Conservatorium Maastricht and the Hochschule für Musik in Köln, he further refined his artistry in New York under the mentorship of David Binney.


Over the years, Greg has performed and recorded with internationally renowned artists including Simply Red, Anouk, and Marco Borsato. His dynamic playing has been featured at major festivals such as the Ghost House Jazz Festival (Athens, Greece), Lagoa Jazz Festival (Portugal), and Tremplin Jazz Festival Avignon (France), highlighting his reputation as a versatile and forward-looking musician.


His discography includes the 2011 debut album Changes and the award-winning 2014 duo release Moods (Torunski Brothers), which earned the Break Thru New York Radio Award. His artistry has also been recognized with the Hustinx Prijs (2012) and the Best Instrumentalist Award at the Tremplin Festival Avignon (2018) with the Torunski Brothers Quartet.


Since 2016, Greg has been a faculty member at Conservatorium Maastricht, where he teaches saxophone and music theory, inspiring the next generation of musicians.


He performed with the Greg Torunski Quartet at the Reckheim Jazz Festival in 2022 and will return in September 2025, supporting the festival's mission of popularizing jazz locallyand bringing world-class artistry to the community.
